Tears, do help.
Tuesday, July 28, 2009 @ 10:07 PM
Ever heard of, "Cry, if you need, to let it all out, and you'll definitely feel better."

It does help, right?

But a matter of fact, is that, no matter how much you cry, no matter how better you feel later...

The problem is still there.

Will update when I'm back. I hate the constant disconnection of wireless@sg.

I Don't Understand.

What the hell is wrong with these people?! It's my grandmother funeral, and they act like...what, two sects? It's fine if you don't wanna talk to us, but please. At least keep it in discreet.

Do they really think that, it looks nice to people, when they see such scenes? The atmosphere is so awkward. For goodness sake. Can't you just put all those personal feelings away just for a few days? It's a funeral, something important you know!

Bleedin assholes. Sigh. I miss my grandmother.

Never-Ending.
Monday, July 20, 2009 @ 7:51 PM
The never ending work,
The never ending thoughts,
The never ending melancholy.

Maybe, someday, it will all stop. I feel like seeing my grandma for a moment. Parents are going out to see her soon...but somehow my parents didn't allow us to go to the hospital because of the recent swine flu incident.

H1N1, have caused lots of inconvenience for everyone in this world. So I'm now current heading out, to do Trigonometry. There's a feeling of unrest within me. What cause it, I'm clueless about it. Maybe, maybe if I grasp the cause, I'd feel better.

Someone did say something true about me. "Sometimes, you think too much." Thank you...to that someone, which I can't remember. Since the face is kinda hazy and all.

Maybe I should just buck up, and act once, instead of thinking.

Love brings around...
@ 2:43 AM
Time changes people, as do feeling changes over time.
So why do people fall in love?
You'd only suffer, when you seriously care for someone.
Isn't it better, if you just leave love alone,
And be alone?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Above, is a weird, yet sound thought. (:

But, nevertheless, love is something that's simple, yet feels complicated at some point of time.

Okay! Back to sleep and it's trigonometrics again. ):

Magna Carta II
Sunday, July 19, 2009 @ 11:09 PM
I didn't get to play Magna Carta, and here's Magna Carta II coming out. It's for Xbox360, but due to compatibility problems, I sure DO HOPE that there's an Asia/Japan English Language version.

If not I'll curse and swear since there's a bleeding US version coming out, which is ENGLISH, and I can't PLAY because of region compatibility problems. Hmph.

The graphics...damnnnn nice. I want a HDTV ftw. ): Is it just me, or the Main Character, looked pissed off? :D

Backtracking. ):
@ 8:43 PM
Haven't been blogging some stuffs because of the pictures, but it isn't any important stuffs so I've been procrastinating until now, but it's better late than never isn't it? (:

Okay enough excuses and here come the pictures!

Finally, I've got my new companion: NDS Lite! *huggles and snuggles* It's what keeps me from being bored when I'm traveling, or when I couldn't get to sleep ^^ I chose Charcoal Black Jet black [What kind of black is Charcoal Black? Sounds so...weird. Jet Black sounds nicer.] because I saw how dirty the white NDS Lite is in Mega Multimedia ><" But oh well, I still love black but for the NDSi, I'll be using white [So that I could see my KH 358/2 cover picture (:]

Black is a good colour, but you can see fingerprints easily. Hence I used a protective case instead. FF4 protective case looks kewl (:

My old NDS vs NDS Lite. Look how small NDS Lite is, and less heavier. Furthermore, grabbing it feels better since it's rectangular, not like my old NDS, which is not that rectangular anyways.

It's less thicker btw.

I passed my BTT (: Yay. Which is 2 weeks ago, btw. Now onwards to FTT (Which I haven't touched the book, or booked the test dates btw.)

The Curry Bun I had during the Hokkaido Festival. (: The potato chunks inside is nice! But it's still far from the Curry Bun I had in Japan. That's the best! Crunchy, and the curry is rich in flavour... I miss you, curry bun!

I forgot this Digimon name, but I respect this person! Because...the weather that day is so hot, and he/she (I didn't know the gender beneath that costume) is still wearing a fur costume.

From outside, look how many people is there! Damnn. Stuffy, but rewarding since I bought doujinshis (Yaoi, btw, that person gave me a weird glance wtf!).

The nurse from Silent Hill. They even walked the same way as those nurses did in Silent Hill! Amazing!

Aww, K-On. But...no no no no no! This is not mio! ><" *Fantasize the real, pretty Mio* (Pardon me for being rude, btw.)

PoT, I presume? :3

The inside, which is so crowded...and hot, since...there's so many people inside.

Warrior of Light. (: The others...I'm not sure! ><"

Rock on, dude with the TV on his head ^^

Hetalia Axis Powers.

Largest character in the whole cosfest. Lol. The wings are sharp, btw.

Armstrong (: Most entertaining duuuuuuuuuude for the day.

Gundam...and...?

The wall of doodles (: it's real motivation for me to try to draw again (Which I didn't draw for months.) Maybe I should take up manga drawing lessons? :D

Waiting for interview (: and if the job is successful, I'll pick up either Jap language, or manga drawing ^^

That's all for backtracking! And seriously, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is dead boring. But I almost cried when Dumbledore died. ><

Saturday, July 18, 2009 @ 12:18 PM
Finally broke my Lost Seaway record again! -31. But I still get silver. Because I lost to some freaking hacker, who got 30 pangs more than me. And he gimme that "haha" sign.

Rahhh. How I wished Godzilla would stop him into pancakes. D:

Going for a swim now, and back to "trigonometrics" madness, before watching Harry Potter. :D

P.S: Trigonometrics sounds way so much better than Trigonometry. (:

sin 2A = 2sinAcosA
cos 2A - cos^2 A - sin2A = 2cos^2 A - 1 = 1 - 2sin^2 A

God there's still more and I'm sick of proving identities already. Hmph. Shall have a swim tomorrow to calm myself down T_T. I'm stuck with maths, physics and chemistry...and some electricity...

I definitely need the motivation I had during sec 3 and 4, but where is it? It's time to find it again. (:

Pixelized.
Thursday, July 16, 2009 @ 1:50 AM
Changed blog header. To something brighter, happier, to suit summer. Although Singapore does not have any seasonal changes, but I do, personally. Who cares?! Even though it's Summer all year round, but it doesn't mean I feel "Summer" all year round.

So today, I spent my whole day in bed lying around, watching MTV. (: Saw the famous "Nobody" video, which I don't really like. But I liked another video. Mama Do by Pixie Lott. I think she's attractive. I definitely felt my heart skip a beat! LOL. But why do I think she looks like Kelly Clarkson? Beats me.

So at night I went to BK, saw xq and jh. Did trigonometry, and slacked under my block, playing "unblock me" on my iphone LOL. After that went home to watch my favourite show :D 法政先锋II! I have an signature set due on 20th July...and it's 4 days more...yet I didn't do anything at all, procrastination till the last day? Maybe.

Here's something maddening...

Sigh, those hackers are back in season 4! Apparently...those people who get rational scores (-29 5k pangs), are not hackers...while no one had the eyes to see all of their other scores are like, -8...900pangs? Sigh. They should have their eyes checked.

As quoted by someone "Decide if you like the game enough to keep playing despise all of the problems or just be done with it - but stick to it. "

But...look at this picture!

Nice going there, but I think the red portion takes 1/2 instead of 1/3.

Ah...I think I'll stick around until my mascot disappears, and see whether it's worth playing it, or not. Because I couldn't bear the pain of having another server closed down, while the time you spent on the game, just plainly goes down the drain.

Oh well. I think I shall go swim this week again.

Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
Tuesday, July 14, 2009 @ 11:13 PM

I've just started watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, which replaced Eden of the East [Which I downloaded bits and pieces to watch. Because it's a whoppin 400mb per episode *faints*]

I am overwhelmed by the picture of the destruction caused by earthquakes in the OP. The OP is rock...by Abingdon Boys School. I preferred the ED though...(:

So to sum it up, this is one anime that I'll be catching every week. I like Yuuki! Damn funny lolz. A little kid brightens my day up. And it's a virtual kid. Guess that I'm getting older by the second. Well, at least I'm happy that this season anime is enjoyable...and I can't wait for the next episode to be released. :D

GA - Geijutsuka Art Class: Random idiocy about art.

Saki: Still nice, Mahjong! <3

Aoi Hana: It's a LESBIAN anime! Should I continue watching it? *ponders*

Sora no Manimani: Another school life comedy.

Zan Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei: Idiotic anime but nice nevertheless.

Needless: Speechless anime...the main character...is like on 12 dozen of steroids everyday.

Okay here's the ED of Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, and I liked how the ED as it is. The pictures are a blend of real life images with anime characters. Me Like. :D

Ending: M/elody by Shion Tsuji DL Link: Click Me :3

So I realised that living in Singapore, is actually a blessing. Although I keep complaining on how prices keep on increasing, how they keep on increase taxes, but at least, it's safe from natrual disasters like Earthquakes and Tsunamis.

Which causes me to have a revelation that, no matter how much I complain, I still like Singapore.

Procrastination + Laziness?
@ 3:15 AM
I've tons of pictures to take from mt's blog and to upload from my phone, to update about what happened! But I'm procrastinating because uploading, and further uploading to blogger takes time.

*lazes around reading Kindaichi manga*

Is there anything that could get my butt off the bed, just to do some stuffs? :D

Finally some "ME" Time! (:
Wednesday, July 08, 2009 @ 11:22 PM
Finally posted current anime interest and game review, I'm beat. Took me 3 hours to compose the review cause I have to reference some game stuffs [Trust me, flashbacks aren't enough for it.] But at least, I'm satisfied since this is my own personal opinion about a game, and no one is going to stop me from posting it! [Which, has already been posted.]

I think I'll take my FTT this year, I'm determined to get my license in two years!
Nothing is really happening this week...except for a Kbox outing this weekend!

Okay that's all for me. Cause I'm a no lifer. Everyday read eat sleep play etc. Hahaha. I'm still trying to get my bicycle out. Which is apparently, so hard. Cause of the boxes above and infront of it. I'm planning to brisk-walk and swim and cycle.

But. It's hard hahahaha. I think I need more determination.

When The Seagulls Cry.
@ 11:06 PM
When The Seagulls Cry is made by the same author of When The Cicadas Cry. Creepy, mysterious, scary. I got scared the hell outta me while watching When The Cicadas Cry. After watching 3 episodes...I stopped. Cause the characters emotions...brr.

Opening: 片翼の鳥 - 志方あきこ

TV Size DL link: Mediafire Link (:

I think this anime would keep me from bored...yet I'm scared! Because after seeing the manga scans...I can expect how gore is it in the anime.

The epitaph in the anime is already scary enough.

My beloved hometown, the bountiful river running through it. You who seek the Golden Land, follow it's path downstream and seek the key. If you follow the river downstream, you will find a village. In the village, look for the shore the two will tell you of. There sleeps the key to the Golden Land.

He who lays his hand upon the key shall travel under the rules below.
At the first twilight, you shall lift up as sacrifice the six chosen by the key.
At the second twilight, the surviving shall tear apart the two who are close.
At the third twilight, the surviving shall praise my honorable name on high.
At the fourth twilight, gouge the head and kill.
At the fifth twilight, gouge the chest and kill.
At the sixth twilight, gouge the belly and kill.
At the seventh twilight, gouge the knee and kill.
At the eighth twilight, gouge the leg and kill.
At the ninth twilight, the Witch shall live again and none shall be left to live.
At the tenth twilight, the journey shall end and you should reach the Golden Land.
The Witch will praise the wise, and should bestow four treasures.

One shall be, all the gold from the Golden Land.
One shall be, the resurrection of the souls of all the dead.
One shall be, even the resurrection of the lost love.
One shall be, to put the Witch to sleep for all time.

Sleep peacefully, my most beloved witch, Beatrice.

I hope this anime would surprise me! I've had my fill of romance until Fall Season. Time for some thriller.

Suikoden Tierkreis Review
@ 9:48 PM

Introduction:

I've never played any Suikoden games after Suikoden III. [Which failed miserably in my aspect cause I hate the battle gameplay, which is a major issue in RPG games.] Undeniably, I had my doubts before starting playing this game, but oh well, there's a lacking in RPGs for NDS, hence I tried. And I finished it at one go, without touching any games. So, here's my review for this game.

Storyline:

The opening scene is animated, which shows one "Starbearer" left, fighting someone with the "invincible" skill equipped. Is it just me, or that person resembles the Hero (a.k.a main character but hero is shorter, so...yeah.), which after that, shows the Hero preparing to go to patrol, around his village.

The storyline is intriguing, but progresses quite slow. You start with the Hero seeing that a valley changed into a forest, but only you saw what's happening. The others thought that the forest has been there all along. And you ventured into a ruins, and found a chronicle, which you find yourself being a starbearer, along with your friends. After that, you decided to venture out of your village.

Which you found out that, there's an Order, where people believes in "One World, One Future." Where everything is predetermined, happiness, death, marriage. IT'S REAL CRAZY I TELL YOU. If that happens in reality.

Suikoden Tierkreis have the main theme as most RPGs have, which is "Saving the World". Cliche as it is, but it's the sub-theme that makes it interesting. In this game, "infinity" is the theme. Where there's an infinite amount of world, in this whole universe.

The story progresses quite slowly, and I actually played with the thought that after watching the Prologue, I'm playing the game of "Before what happened in the prologue" timeline. But alas, I only realised that it's not like that, after about 50% of the game. Geez.

Gameplay:

----
Battle:
For battle, it's kind of like Final Fantasy. There's 4 people in your party, with one supporting character.

There's no ATB, you select the commands, and after that, the battle starts. Who goes first depends on your speed. The magic and skills is quite limited, which is quite sad because you have so many characters, yet most of them have similar skills.

A nice skill would be the "Co-operation Attack", where you can use when certain specific members are in your battle party.
----
Travelling:
This is one heck of an annoyance in Suikoden, especially when you're frustrated, or you have to go and there's no freaking Save Point.

The monster encounter rate is actually very high, a few steps. BAM! Monster appears. It's an annoyance to the point I had to use Action Replay to set No Encounters, unless I pressed a specific button.

You have 108 characters to recruit, and sometimes you have to backtrack to dungeons, or plains to do such recruitment acts, and you have to fight monsters. There's no "repel" or something like that. Which I wished there would be one! Even Final Fantasy have "No Encounters"! [sorry if I offended any Suikoden diehard fans.]

Let's not forget, sometimes the game leaves you in the last screen of the dungeon after defeating a boss, and you have to backtrack all the way after a gruesome battle, which sometimes you might not have sufficient healing items. Try doing that, when the monster encounter rate is so high.
----
Levelling:
There's actually no need for grinding, you gain levels so fast! Which makes me wonder, since you could level so fast, why would you need to have such a high monster encounter rate?
----
Money:
Money is easily earned, via trading. You could earn a profit of about 100,000 easily just by selling stuffs from one town, in another town. No complains here. But just time consuming.
----
Characters:
108 characters, with about 15 of them as support characters, 95 as battle characters. With so many characters, you'd think it's enjoyable right? No! I barely used more than 30 characters out of 108, in the whole game. (: A vast variety is great, but when most characters have the same skills, how great would it be?

I know that in Suikoden, there will, and would be 108 characters, but I think the developers could create more skills. But the character art is nice! Oh and in the whole gameplay, I only remembered a small amount of names.
----
Skills:
Simple, no variety at all...which is sad. And I have to scroll through 95 characters whenever I gain new skills, just to set it for time. >_>"
----

Graphics:
The graphics for 2D is very, very, nice! Yet, the 3D lacks a little bit here and there, and look really childish compared to their Character Art. But I totally love the Character Art! *nudge nudge* Crodechild and Asad <3 Music: The music is nice, and enjoyable in certain scenes! But one music that I hate would be the battle theme, which makes me turning the volume to mute most of the time, except boss battles and field traveling. Don't ask me why I hate it, maybe it just doesn't appeal to me.

Replayablity: Generally like usual RPGs, you can, and would complete it around 40 hours, and there's actually hardly any replayability (No New Game +), and you'd actually only replay if you didn't recruit all 108 characters [Which is seriously difficult without a guide], to get the true ending. There's 3 ending : Bad Ending, Good Ending, and True Ending.

Conclusion: This is one Suikoden game that I had tons of complain it, yet I didn't give up, and played till the end, just because of the storyline. It also shows me that even when you have a variety of characters, you won't be able to use all of them. So, more =/= good! The game is comparable to Dragon Quest, and Final Fantasy, in my opinion. This game made me feel like trying Suikoden V on PS2. So...maybe I would try it!

Rating: 7.5/10 <- Not bad, per se.

Nooooo.
@ 12:52 AM

Current state: As depicted above.

Oh, the bad hair days. Where the gravity defying hairs just go flop down because of the humid weather, or maybe is my hair too long? The fringe...is killing me.

I think I need to sleep earlier! Trying to...maybe drinking milk...and having a warm bath would help.

Indices...my next challenge. ): On a happier note, I got my "idol ticket" in pangya...when...I bogeyed. Nice...wonder is it a blessing, or a consolation?

I shall wash my bicycle. And ride it everyday~ But first...I need to get it out...with heap of stuffs blocking it.

"We'll never know until we try!" Nice thought...I'll never know, until I try, right?

This loneliness is killin' savin' me.
----
Okay a update on this weekend:

Went to watch movies with chan and mt! At first we wanted to watch Land of the Lost, but in the end, we watched Transformers 2! It. Is. Damn. Nice! I love how robots fight! It's kinda sad when Optimus died. [But I still hate gundam and mecha animes. Trying to love Code Geass.] After that...we had our lunch...at the Hokkaido Fair. To describe it correctly, our lunch consists of:

Takoyaki (2 each)
Potato Croquette (1 each)
Sweet Dango (1 each)
Cheesecake [It's nice!] (2 pieces each)
Curry Bun (1 each)

It's fiiling...with a huge price T_T The food's expensive but it's really tasty! And oh, the calories. Must swim more! ><

After that, loitered and planned an overseas trip next year! Korea, Taiwan or Hong Kong! Then I had to rush off to a grandeur dinner...which was quite...let's forget it okay? (:

Next day...went to view the Punggol BTO area...it's quite...quiet. But after that I went and bought the same cheesecake again! Sigh...the cheese is just so tempting.

That's all for the weekends! I sure hope that there's entertaining topics soon. Oh well. At least I completed Suikoden Tierkries. Making a review of it soon!

No Life.
Friday, July 03, 2009 @ 12:12 AM
I'm going to end the period of no life tomorrow! Maybe.

Going for a swim tomorrow, and it's time to mug for BTT. Did I said I wanted to end my no-life mood just now? Oh, forget it. I wanna play Fatal Frame 2 and Silent Hill Origins to boost my fear against gore, ghost and horror, but it was in vain!

I deleted Silent Hill Origins when I just started to BOOT it up, I just couldn't pluck up the bleeding courage to put Fatal Frame 2 into my PS2. Bugger cowardice. Humph.

Planning to start running by brisk walking 30minutes twice per week. I shall do that. Thy is determined to shed off those friggin fats muahahaha.

I want to fall in love! Somehow I typed something wrong. The act of falling in love and being in love seems to be the same, but it has different meaning. Oh well.

Sigh. Why does this pang of loneliness hit me sometimes. It's a tough time to go over...
